Cookies Policy

Our website uses a small amount of first-party browser storage to count visitors and to keep signed-in administrators logged in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

About cookies and browser storage

A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that a website puts on your device. Some sites also use 'local storage', which works in a similar way — a small piece of information saved in your browser so the site can recognise your device on a return visit.

We keep this to an absolute minimum. Our website sets no advertising cookies, no social media cookies and no third-party tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any similar external analytics service, and nothing we store is sold or shared with advertisers.

What we store

  • rd_vid — first-party local storage, set by our own visitor statistics. It holds a randomly generated identifier with no name, email address or other personal detail attached. It lets us count how many separate visitors we have and which pages they view, so we can improve the site. It stays in your browser until you clear your browsing data.
  • sb-…-auth-token — first-party local storage, set only if you sign in to the private administration area of this website. It keeps that session signed in and is removed when you sign out. It is never set for ordinary visitors to the public website.

Our visitor statistics record the page visited, the general device type (mobile, tablet or desktop), the country the visit came from and the website that referred you, if any. The visitor identifier is converted into an anonymous daily code on our server, and we do not store your IP address or anything that identifies you personally.

Blocking or clearing this data

You can block or delete cookies and site data through your browser settings, and you can clear the items above at any time using your browser's "clear browsing data" or "clear site data" option. The public pages of this website will continue to work normally if you do. If you are an administrator, clearing this data will simply sign you out.

Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" setting. Because we do not track individuals or share data with third parties, our statistics stay anonymous either way.

Changes to our privacy and cookies policy

Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by email. Please check back frequently to see any updates or changes to our Privacy and Cookies Policy. See also our Privacy Policy.

Important notes on protecting your own data

Please be aware of cybercrime and protecting your own information online, particularly financial information. Do not send unsecure personal information over the internet. We recommend you use encryption software or provide any information to us using the online tools we provide.

Do not respond to emails asking you to pay money. Never make a payment purely in response to an email. Always call the company to validate any payment requests and check the phone number independently from the email. If you receive a phone call asking for payment, ensure you are satisfied the call is genuine, or else call the company back to check. HL Partnership Limited will not take responsibility if you transfer money to a fraudster in error.
